Andrew Gordon
Project Manager (Cleaner Machinery for London)

Andrew has a wide background in policy implementation in such areas as acoustics and noise control, travel demand management, behavioural change and enforcement work. In addition to his interest in indoor air quality and the current research horizons, he operates the Pan-London Construction Low-Emission Zone, having had a policy involvement with large diesel machinery in this sector for over 10 years. He is an established trainer of health personnel in how to spot domestic air quality issues in the homes of vulnerable patients, and how to mitigate these. He is also involved in projects linking air quality measurements taken from deployed monitors in the homes of asthma patients, with both behavioural and structural issues. He has particular interests in the public understanding of the health implications of the indoor home environment, as well as emergent technologies, alternative fuels, off-grid supply and future power management.
